This is orange topaz which is November's birthstone. My birthday is in November so if you feel like getting me a piece of orange topaz this is what it looks like

Two large topaz crystals, approx. 12" tall, I think. #Rhyolite#topaz#MinCup

Large slightly bluish-green topaz crystal that has internal flaws and some bumps.
Large topaz crystal with a nice crystal form. The top of the topaz is frosted and the rest of the body of the crystal is transparent to translucent, and shows a lot of internal bubbles. It is champaign-colored, though the coloration isn't consistent throughout.

I knew a biologist--still do technically, she's not dead--who went on a field expedition and came home with a NASTY code. No symptoms but absolutely DEVASTATING congestion. She was talking like a plugged-up cartoon character for months. Nothing helped.
