3) Galaxy in Flames This loses points for having keeler in a coma for so much of the book and that the story is two drawn out massive battles. The virus bombing scene was cool. Lucius shines as a villian his turn is dumb, but he's a great heel. I look forward to flight of the eisenstein and fulgrim
2) Horus Rising This book was good I like that it segments out the story clearly into 3 parts. A breezy cohesive well written first book. The horus rising narrator had the definitive delivery of the trilogy. The book introduces the luna wolves and is hopeful at times. 2/3
Finishing the trilogy. Euphrate keeler is the standout because of her arc from humble photographer to prophet. The boys Saul Tarik. Ranking the books: 1) False Gods. It has the right mix of dumb astartes moments and interesting human moments. Tarik really gets to shine. I love horus in the warp 1/
