I don’t buy all the AI hype out there, but I am beginning to see ways it could make us more efficient. For example, today I spent 4 hours turning a manuscript into a Powerpoint talk and I bet we will one day be able to have AI convert a paper into a powerpoint within seconds not hours.
A friend recently did the opposite. Took a PowerPoint and turned it into an outline for a manuscript. Where it fell apart was on finding references and studies.
