City council meetings have become entirely posturing and trying to curate an image with the election coming up in November. It's ridiculous! I hope most of them are voted out. #yqrcc

No one is moving to Regina bc we built an expensive pool and a fancy library bc the property taxes will make them buy in White City, Lumsden, etc and none of them are paying into these big projects.

They are going after the debt increase and then they'll try to get as many of these stupid excessive projects started before the election. #yqrcc

Why would anyone want to run for council this November when this current group is absolutely stonewalling them from being able to do anything. The money will all have been promised and spent. Property tax will be going up a lot! Cue the heavy exodus to the bedroom communities. #yqrcc

And it feels like the shadow of the coming election is over everything. Bresciani is suddenly concerned about debt after not caring for years. Gotta get these decisions made now instead of leaving it for the next council. Everyone wants their legacy?
