I think it was real.
Many of the legal challenges came very late, at which point Trump's candidacy was a foregone conclusion instead of an open question. By that point, the optics of the prosecutions read very differently, and are framed as attacks on a political opponent.
This nihilism seems more like an excuse than a reason, because part of the reason Trump's run has been normalized is because Democrats repeatedly said that the issue should be solved "at the ballot box," suggesting it was a political debate rather than a legal one.
I like my water weak and gay, thanks.
I genuinely can't tell if it's fecklessness or if it was a (poor) strategic attempt to weaken the Republican party by keeping him in the mix despite constant legal challenges. Like "hey, run against us with this albatross around your neck."
This behavior drives me crazy. I don't even know if they're aware they're doing it. They are so eager to deprive elected Dems of agency to absolve them of past inaction or conservatism that they accidentally argue against any of it mattering.
Out right now my dude.
"12 moons?" This guy sounds full of shit.
I hope you repeatedly pretended to unsheathe it while making a high pitched "SHING" sounds.
A space cowboy that wants to enslave the human race, named Big Titty Williams. He has huge, perfect tits, lots of cleavage, and is surrounded by women with huge tits at all times, and they're also evil. He keeps on altering human monuments to have massive tits. He talks like Santa Claus.
