I would say when you are not using the very top line of familiar household name superheroes then the promotion is extra necessary. Even just for the awareness.
Blue Beetle, at least, got caught up in the strike period (as did The Marvels, to be fair) so no one could even promote it. Xolo Maridueña’s mom did an interview because she was so proud of her son, and he could not do any press.
Exactly. The Marvels looks like so much fun and I really want to see it. I wish the 2020-21 short/ simultaneous streaming windows were still a thing because they were way more accessible.
