Tokyo Jungle was pretty early to both the survival and roguelite waves of early 2010. One would think that its formula would've become stale after the explosion of both genres but there's something still so unique about it. Incredibly straightforward but also fascinating.

Crispy's disappearance from game development is so mysterious. They developed Tokyo Jungle (a critical and public darling), Tokyo Jungle Mobile (a.k.a. an accidental predecessor of Mewgenics), Suda's Ranko Tsukugime's Longest Day... And then they were never heard of again.
