My EV range anxiety is people thinking they need a 60 kW battery for their daily commute. The average Australian daily distance driven is only 30 km for passenger vehicles.

This is wild. Cops accidentally raid medical imaging facility. When they don't find the grow house they expected, they start wandering around. Cop ignores warning signs by MRI, and gets his rifle pulled out of his hands. Cop then hits the emergency quench switch, bricking the supercon magnet.

The thing that all these “Bluesky is an echo chamber” takes leave out is that most of us aren’t here for political or philosophical debates with strangers. Mostly it’s to socialize with friends and talk shit about stupid things. Having a Nazi yelling at you doesn’t enhance that experience.

Fascinating piece that adds facts to the stories I heard as a kid. What an impressive woman. I grew up one street from where Betty was murdered and I often played in the Shanks family home (owned by the Nortons - Jim Norton demonstrated chemistry to my year two class and left a lasting impression).

Betty Shanks was murdered walking home in Brisbane 72 years ago. Some believe her killer can still be found

The 22-year-old's battered body was found lying in a garden with a bloodstained tram ticket still clutched in her hand.
