My nephew was appalled that I didn't have a working tape deck (he's into retro, I dig it), so he fished one out of the trash for me. Spattered with paint, broken radio antenna, some dude's name painted on it. It was great, but I have since upgraded.
But Alan Page played the sousaphone to cheer you on, so I don't think you can call it a total disaster! (I finished even slower than I expected, but the thing is done! I heard a bunch of people cheering for Steve, but you would have been well ahead.)
