Finished Turok. Rad as hell. Even the platforming was forgivable. That's how much fun I had! I'll pick up the 2nd game when it's on sale next. I hope it's as good.

I'm not too fussed, as I want to get Zelda finished before starting Blood Omen, but it would be nice to know that it is at least on its way. However, if it gets cancelled I'll just have to order from Game Collection, who seem to have started stocking them. And I may accidentally get Bitmap Bros 2...

LoK still not dispatched, despite it being out today. Last time I use Amazon for preorders. To be fair, I only used them because I had a voucher.

Played a lot of Echoes of Wisdom today. I think I'm coming up to the final temple/big rift, maybe. I'm having a great time, but I don't want to overdo it, so I had another go on Turok before bed. I'm still loving it. Just finished the treetop village. That game flows so well. 2 levels to go.

This month's Retro Gamer hasn't turned up yet. And my Legacy of Kain Evercade cart hasn't been dispatched yet, either. I think there's a conspiracy against me. One man can not have all this fun at once. To be fair, I'm proper into Echoes of Wisdom so I'm fine waiting to start Blood Omen. 🫣

It does have you trying to think outside the box the further you get through, due to the limitations of what you can use, but yeah, bed stairs is a mainstay for me. 😄

I un-ironically love it. Never really paid it any attention until it started finding its way into my Spotify recommendations. The actual theme song isn't that good, but the music for the courses I can listen to on repeat. It really captures the vibe of mainstream dance music of the time, too.
