The amount they want to raise bills amounts to about £4bn per annum. We are paying for their plundering of the company. They must not be allowed to get away with this daylight robbery.

Nope. Not what he said at all. Stop listening to the shit-stirrers. He said with the process of independence. Which signals good things, surely, & implies the laser refocusing we want.

After everything that's happened, this nincompoop of a Leave.EU leader, Daniel Hannan ("no one's talking about leaving the single market") still doesn't get it. He's way too arrogant to learn any lessons, and should be hiding in shame at this juncture. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/08...

When X censored political opposition in Turkey and India, Elon Musk claimed he had to follow local laws. Now Brazil is asking X to follow local laws, and Musk is refusing, claiming free speech. It's not free speech, it's does he like you, and no one—including media coverage—should pretend otherwise.

Jeez! Half of GP trainees about to qualify are still looking for work yet we have a desperate shortage of GP’s and one in 20 patients has to wait at least four weeks to see a GP! The Health Secretary needs to investigate this urgently www.pulsetoday.co.uk/news/workfor...

"When surveyed, people who received universal basic income instead of regular unemployment benefits reported better financial well-being, mental health and cognitive functioning, as well as higher levels of confidence in the future." www.newscientist.com/article/2242...

Universal basic income seems to improve employment and well-being

Finland’s two-year test of universal basic income has concluded that it doesn't seem to disincentivise working, and improves recipients’ mental and financial well-being
