The design vs the WIP, with 12" ruler for scale! The art show panels at Anthrocon are 2' by 4' and by god am I going to fill every last bit of that space
i pulled some gyotaku prints at a skillshare event at my local makerspace this weekend! it makes me wanna go fishing just so i can find some fish to print and then fry up
I really, really wish bsky had videos. Anyway! The exact same fabric, this is just the difference between viewing it at one angle vs another. It's insane to see IRL!
Yeah, that's the problem... I like animals with a couple of breaks of color texture so I can use different fabrics but too many and it just becomes not worth it :/ I would love to find a way to make a bird work but that's just so much
ohh deer and bear is such a good idea! Turtle too, I could engrave the shell design into the fabric ...
yeah!!! leopard! i figured out how to etch stainless steel blanks with the fiber laser at my makerspace, and its basically the same as etching metals with chemicals for trad intaglio printmaking! i wanna experiment with it more - maybe see if i can do a full cmyk workflow!
