The achievement trophy was the cherry on top. It technically applies to just the ecoterrorist quest, but in the meta-story I treated it as a perfect button on my bumbling misadventures on the wrong side of the law, culminating in my redemption.
Mind you, all of that describes two fully separate questlines that just happened to go sideways because of bad rolls and my own bad judgment calls, happening back-to-back across 3 play sessions. The emergent storytelling in this game is a true delight.
...leading ME to become the one arrested, spend half a game session incurring capital punishment, be let out, wander into a forest, encounter a wanted ecoterrorist, unwittingly trap myself into working for her, fool her into giving herself up, and be rewarded by the game with an ACHIEVEMENT?
...then hear the cries of a child inside the building, spend two turns to run to the next town in panic and buy equipment that will help me put out the fire, double back, put the fire out, save the kid, then get fingered by the corrupt businessman I was trying to throw in jail... 2/3
Lands of Galzyr is an amazing game. Where else outside of a full-on RPG could I play a char who tries to expose a corrupt businessman by sneaking into his office late at night, screw up all my stealth checks, hastily decide to commit arson to hide my tracks, get away scot free... 1/3

Mastercard's new policy unfairly targets the adult content industry, making sex workers more vulnerable, especially Black trans women. It must be stopped.
