I know. I did mention not just women in my earlier post 🙂 But I’m speaking statistically, as that is the basis on which policies are made. Same as DV- men are victims too, but because the vast majority of victims are women, all of those structural biases re policy making then become relevant.

I wonder how accurate the stats really are, sometimes. Caring is easier to track but DV is much less so. I remember sitting in a chair letting the ex-wife beat me around the head because if I stopped her, she'd bruise and if I called the police, I'd be the one arrested. It's tricky.
