Thatās great!! Although Iām marvelling at how little slug / snail damage you have - those cabbages look beautiful!
The man is a menace, but facts matter. Do you have a source for this? The US DoD and Ukrainian government have both been working with SpaceX for months on how to disable Starlink terminals Russia has bought on the black market.
The only stuff we add to our soil is well rotted horse manure (just had a ton delivered), and compost from our bins. We had a dozen fantastic hispi cabbages this year! And are hoping to have Brussels from the allotment on Christmas Day š
Completely understand that, itās what we like to do too.
That would explain why my mate, who lives in the Cairngorms, has them growing wild in the pine forests around him. Being on the South Downs thereās a limit to how much soil improvement we can do here š¤£
Good point, youāre probably right, I expect theyāll be buying from a big Scottish grower.
Never had luck with blueberries, not sure if itās the chalky soil / being very well drained that doesnāt help?
Iāve inherited a redcurrant, need to learn how to prune it to get the best out of it! There are various rasp canes on the allotment, but none of them seem to fruit much. We have had great success at home by planting quite close to each other (space constraint!), so want to scale up at allotment
Ah sorry, I thought they were an indie, if theyāre not then Iāve made a mistake too as that was part of the reason I bought from them š¤¦āāļø
Weāve gone for 15 each of Glen Ample and Glen Magna, plus three blackcurrant Ben Connan. All The Berries!!!
