I just flipped on a “House Hunters” rerun that featured a trans woman & her spouse/partner. If the execs at HGTV are confident that the country’s a-ok w trans people, it’s pretty solid evidence that Republicans made a terrible political miscalculation in targeting/denigrating the trans community.
They did a throuple episode in early 2020. They’ve been cool with everybody for a while. www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-...
Viewers of HGTV’s popular real estate show watched in shock and awe as a polyamorous “throuple” searched for a new home in Colorado.
Is this the broadway actress looking to move upstate one? There might be a second one.
It's like the Repubs are stuck in the 1950s. Uh, guys (mostly), it's the 21st century. Please, come join us. Or you can stay in 1955, or Reagan's 1985, and get run over by the blue, trans, gay, independent women, youth waves. IMHO, the entire lot of you should be wearing straight jackets.
There are Republicans who have known this going back 10 years. The R head of the Texas house killed a trans bathroom bill back in 2015-ish after saying it was wasting everyone’s time and wouldn’t help anyone or their party. R’s there stopped the anti-trans drumbeat but eventually turned back to it.
Is this a newer episode, or a re-run, 'cause a ton of companies just wholesale ditching diversity and inclusion programs and proudly announcing they're leaving LGBTQ rights/equality charity groups has be second-guessing everything these days
Super frustrating: Bernie Moreno (running for US Senate in Ohio) is running anti-trans ads, and they're just full of lies and hate dressed up as "parents concerned for their daughters who are going to be victimized by people who are actually men." It's so discouraging.
This despicable anti-trans Trump ad is weird AF. And isn’t going to win any “average American” votes. bsky.app/profile/coop...
