Took a few days off. Spending it at a nice cabin. In a beautiful forest. Surrounded by fantastic redwoods. But it takes me a while to decompress and even begin to feel relaxed. At least a day or two. Anyone else find this?

Making video games is incredibly challenging. It’s a balancing act of personal motivation, emotional endurance, and imagined player reaction and experience. Doing too much. Working too hard. Grinding too long. Just doesn’t work. Breaks are essential. Getting outside is vital.
