I read a book when I was young where a boy lost an eye because of a lawn mower and I never forgot it. I also know a guy who lost half the fingers on his right hand bc he jumped off a swingset while his dad was mowing and his hand slid under it somehow 😩

My sister got miffed at me because my little nephew said he mowed the lawn and I asked him if he had on closed-toe shoes and eye protection and he said no
