My characters do this all the time. AT THE TIME, I don’t generally appreciate it. But they’re usually right.

Honestly FIRST step for me with any new story is characters just pop into my head one day and have completely out of context conversations for a few weeks and I feel like I’m just evesdropping…

This is a weird answer for #HorrorWritersChat but, honesty? My MCs fell in love too quickly. The reader was supposed to be on board with one MC thinking the other was, and I quote, ‘a psychotic, murderous bitch’ but then all of a sudden it was, ‘Nooo. She’s so PRETTY.’ Rogue character shenanigans…
