Similar tunnels were used to kidnap and are currently used to keep Israeli civilian hostages, including a child and a baby. That’s how this war started. Hamas is known for killing civilians, including the suicide bomber who exploded on my bus when I was a kid, on the way home from school.

As I said, its complicated. West Bank Palestinians cannot enter Israel without permits,which is rational since these are two rival entities.If the borders were open, there would likely be terror attacks.The peace process has stalled,leaving us in this terrible situation.I hope for peace for everyone
