True but I can choose to be an AAA member or not. No such luck with your monopoly utility co. Not a defense of their lobbying, Iâm sure itâs bad, but thatâs a big difference imho.
Republicans complain about unions spending members' dues on political activity but even if you believe their arguments about that (I do not!) this is so much worse: Many people do not have much of a choice w/r/t their electricity provider.
