The cards in 151 are just so beautiful and I am still missing the Venasaur special illustration rare... I have pretty much all of the other cards I wanted from the set.

Was it the etb or the ultra premium collection? The ultra premium is so good and i saw it at Costco for like $100 cad which is a fantastic deal but I loved and talked about the 151 set so much that 2 separate people ended up buying it for me as a gift last year so I skipped it but was tempted

Costco has some incredible deals for Pokemon, it's often where I want to go if I want to rip packs... Theyve had Lucario + Tyranitar box sets with Evolving Skies packs recently which is nuts.

100 percent agree. I also think generated weapons w special rules easily could have been worked into the point buy system they have or the game could have worked with no combat at all. The game makes you feel like you're in Links shadow imvho and it makes zero sense.

They're wrong and they probably don't have any real game design exp. I can think of a ton of ways this could have been done effectively while retaining the games core themes and intentions.

I 100 percent agree with this take. Wonderful game but it's disappointing especially knowing she's capable of extremely powerful magic in other games. Don't get why she isn't just capable of elemental magic. Or even transforming into Sheik. Anything would have been better + More interesting

The trick is to use the Peahat enemy it's in a cave before the first dungeon and it's so overpowered that no other creature I've encountered in the game so far has even mattered (although I haven't finished yet). Feels like battles of attrition where I spawn these guys repeatedly and fall asleep lol
