A TN Ct. of Appeals Judge appears to be first to use "concepts of a plan" in an opinion. The context: it was a not a valid agreement, only "concepts of a plan" to agree Is this snarky or sane-washing? It's in quotes so probably snarky, but I can't tell anymore. tncourts.gov/sites/defaul...

Alex Spiro withdraws from representing Eric Adams in a civil sexual-assault lawsuit after the NYC Conflicts of Interest Board “raised concerns” (via Frank G. Runyeon, Law360)

& Sullivan, LLP has been representing the Defendants as co-counsel with the New York City Law Department since March of 2024. This matter is currently pending dismissal. 4. On September 25, 2024, the United States Attorney for the Southem District of New York issued a criminal indictment against Defendant Adams. 5. Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP ("Quinn Emanuel") was retained to represent Defendant Adams in that criminal matter. 6. The conflict of interest board of the City of New raised concerns over the firm's representation in both matters. Quinn Emanuel is therefore withdrawing from representing the City Defendants in the above-captioned action to avoid a conflict of interest. 7. On September 28, 2024, Quinn Emanuel notified Assistant Corporation Counsel Maxwell D. Leighton that pursuant to the concerns raised by the City's conflicts board, Quinn Emanuel could no longer represent City Defendants in the above-captioned action…
