Yes, Katsy and I have been in touch. I'd love to have her visit my class and talk about her work. My students would love her!
Looking forward to reading this, Evan! I'm teaching a First Year Seminar in Spanish this Fall and the topic we'll explore is Climate Change. It'll be great to show students who will likely be from Spanish-speaking households and/or Latinxs, how climate attitudes vary by race/ethnicity.
Amazing first day at the DARE workshop at Lehman College! One of the highlights was the presentation about NSF’s HSI solicitations. Excited to learn more about fostering quantitative reasoning skills in my students tomorrow, and to bring all these ideas to the classroom in the Fall.

I love that this article has gotten some attention since it came out in 2018. It was my first solo-authored paper & a learning experience. Grateful to Sociology Compass for approaching me at a conference presentation & asking me to submit an article. compass.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1...

Today was a big day for me. It started with my first row of the season, and ended with my testimony in support of RI S 2983, which reduces the length of state residency required for foreign-born students to qualify for in-state tuition in RI. Thank you Senator Cano for your support of the Bill!
