would removing the last 127 value in the lut array also be sensible to do? as that pushes it to 33 elements if I'm counting things correctly.
they want control & have always wanted to be the next spotify or equivalent in scope & revenue. so this all seems more like how to look like they're doing things for the investors rather than doing anything actually good (otherwise they'd have not dropped numerous dev teams under their 11yr tenure).
the irony is the name of the user doing all of this appears to be the cto that I had to deal with post radionomy acquisition who I was under the impression was no longer involved with "winamp" but I guess that's not the case. anyhoo, dump the dev team & scramble to meet a deadline seems to be afoot.
another signed casting issue maybe?
that's what happens when you've got 4 months & like with homework leave it to the night before to get it all done. had been wondering how they'd do any of this when there wasn't an obvious dev team since they were let go early last year (2023).
they (llama group / "winamp") afaict don't even have the rights to the shoutcast dnas as that was something sold off to the azerion group a year or so back (which led to llama group being formed from what remained). what now calls itself "winamp" mostly makes its revenue from music licensing afaict.
One of the playback issues I'd fixed in my own version a few weeks before your commits appeared though you've done a better job covering more of the problems vs what was reported to me at that time. My copy of it is mostly the pre-wxWidgets builds along with wacupifications I need from the plug-ins.

getting a copy of the "bad" local library db files with the duplicates showing would have been useful but as it seems you've started over again with the local library db they're gone. if it happens again then I'd need to get a copy of the library.dat/library.idx files from the wacup settings folder.
if the files are local then as long as the full file path that's being reported back to wacup & the folder monitor hasn't changed then there duplicates shouldn't be added. yes there's been some builds which broken that but that's been resolved for some time (excluding the noted network path problem)
