speaking as someone literally playing the original 3 as I type this, its super linear too. Probably just as linear as the remake or at least very nearly.

The remake has almost the same story, same enough at least to tell you what happened without making you play a ps1 game. If you dont mind a ps1 game the original is a better overall game by far. He’s right about it being far more linear but in fairness the original 3 is also very linear

I’ve grown to like the 3 Remake with second and third play throughs but no doubt its EXTREMELY disappointing when compared to what every other remake did. Hell, they made mr. X INTO “nemesis in a hat” for the 2 remake so wtf happened with actual nemesis?!? Just, how? Great action and story tho

Yeah, 3’s whole thing was being technically impressive. They sacrificed things like the b scenario, favoring a smaller second character segment and it was worth it.
