Plus I could have plugged in the car at a Power Up time but the benefits were tiny compared to OVO's standard car charging tariff.

It's a great experiment in what it's worth to you to change your behaviour. I quickly reached the conclusion that the benefits didn't compensate sufficiently for the inconvenience of, for example, cooking our dinner at a different time.

I have a little way to catch up....

Recently retired from a big Microsoft house and discovering how badly 365 works for individuals and small organisations. Can you point me to something which explains what is going on? And is there a realistic alternative for seriously non-technical people?
