I'm a cis woman with a demanding manual labor job. I have several coworkers who transitioned over the past few years. Some of them lose strength, some don't, some continue to get stronger. All of them are happier.
It's probably called like "task dysphoria" or something like that.
Background for me is autism / ADHD. I got this feeling yesterday when I needed to do urgent paperwork but I didn't have the spoons. Taking timed tests in school were another big one. Maybe just a trigger idk.
Is there a word for the feeling you get when you're being asked to do something "easy" that you just aren't capable of? It's an intense feeling of helplessness and failure.
My friend is the person who backed out and I toured it with her! This is SUCH a cute place and the roomies all have impeccable vibes.
