Taxes are used as incentives, in many cases, to do or not do something. I’m not sure this specific tax policy would incentivize the right thing.

I haven’t made a decision for or against UBI because I can’t imagine how it could/would be implemented. I think free education at all levels might be more important/effective at investing in human potential… I’d really like to get an understanding on how we could realistically implement UBI.

Bluesky is officially “open” now (no more invites). So just a reminder to not engage with trolls and bad actors, there is no algorithm here to promote or spread them, replying to them is what puts them on everybody’s timelines. So block and give no oxygen.
