The blind 80 year old professor I worked for read the news every day on an old computer running JAWS. There are options. Obviously that's not an excuse for the rest of us to push for a more inclusive internet, but there are definitely options.
I’ve shared this with you before (I think), but this breakdown of what written media emphasizes vs what visual media emphasizes is really insightful, imo. Enjoying both is fine, but ppl need to be more aware of what certain forms of “news” do to us.
