I can’t believe I’m only now hearing about this packing tape idea. Someone left cuttings of a cactus with very tiny spines on my Take-a-plant/Leaf-a-plant stand, and any time I need to move them I end up with a zillion invisible pain hairs in my arm, so the tape thing is exciting
