Hello, my name is ████████ and I'm the T/ales o/f t/he A/byss cryptid that is Extremely Normal about Van Grants. Have a graphic I got bored and made one day.
This is worth noting. There are no private posts on here, and you should NOT send anything sensitive in DMs, they are not properly encrypted
I think my raiding goal this expansion is to continue to poke at Savage PF casually while I go on the GIT GUD-ing journey and then eventually go "fuck it, TEA PF SUFFERING" and just go apeshit.
Anyway...apparently you are NOT supposed to stack with the whole group together on Raining Cats and then pray that the invuln'ed tanks can manage the last 4% without the rest of you.

Did I die a bunch and parse embarrassingly low? Yeah but going from "oops they just said Mouser prog and I assumed they meant 1 uuuuuuh" to "figuring out the mechanics I haven't seen yet by sight and adjusting and clearing when I was mostly blind" still felt great.
I haven't raided seriously in nearly two years so getting lucky with the PF gacha and getting an M1S clear made me feel great.
Bluesky COULD be perfect if it had those privacy settings and also removed full text search (and there may be a setting for the latter somewhere I missed, but I do think hashtags were the better way to go for visibility).
Yeah. I think ultimately as a tool for discussion, Mastodon is better but also a harder sell because it has the "designed by a backend engineer" problem (and there was some wack misinformation about it and the very nature of social media and privacy going around too).
Then again there's Just Discord and I can probably stick with that. Even then, sometimes group chats in particular can be DICE-Y.
I guess my reason is "it would be nice to have public fun things but Difficult Topics remain with friends" but I think always public and on social media expects you to have discussions with every stranger who makes bad faith assumptions.
