Ouch!!! The butcher birds seem to like us as our doors are regularly open (no fly screen) and they have scored a few toast crusts etc left on benches. So far the miner has done warning swoops daily and one helmet collision 😬. I get the horror of Hitchcock now!!
One final Brisbane/QLD question from this newbie - when does swooping season end?! There are miners enacting a reign of terror on the corner of my street and I start each day terrified of the cycle into work (often with my kids on the back of the bike too!) 😳😱
Ta! I am near UQ - is your contact this part of Brisbane? If yes do pass over their details!
Oof that one is lush. I’d say my favourite is that one or chambray next to it but the ones in mu possession are a variety of discontinued colours picked up on sale at tk maxx… I’m not sure I’d want to know what that says about me 😂
Another QLD question for you all - do I need to go to a specialist skin cancer clinic for an annual skin check or do GPs do this? Figure I need to get on top of these now I live in Brisbane 😬
😬😬😬. I feel like we fill up the vacuum every week here. I’m going to try not to imagine what the carpet must have weighed in our precious house!
Yes I have to do it a minimum of twice a week! I am contemplating a roomba but I think marcel will chase it when he arrives…
Do houses in QLD and/or houses with floorboards produce more dust, or did I just live in invisible filth in my carpeted UK home? Feels like I’m constantly hoovering here 😩
Hello! I’m a classicist and theatre historian specialising in Greek tragedy in contemporary theatre. My second book, Punchdrunk on the Classics, comes out in November ☺️
Ah, that small window of time where I have a social media account that my mum hasn’t yet discovered and followed me on 😆. 35 and with nothing to share that she doesn’t know/would care about but it still feels 🔥
