Oooh, I'll definitely check out the popular with friends one! I've added a few feeds for fandoms and such I'm in, but those seem to be hit or miss. They're either entirely self-promo, or random posts with no actual community attached (when community is what I'm looking for)
Yeah the marketing posts are A LOT. Going through mutuals' followings is a really good idea, though! I hadn't thought of that!!
My timeline is mostly art shares right now, and while that's nice, I want more substantive writing discussions. I guess alternately, are there any good queer writing feeds?
Ok this may be a dumb question, but...how do y'all find new people to follow on here? I feel like I'm not super active because my timeline just does not have a lot of stuff I'm interested in, or the people I follow aren't active, and everything feels segmented so I'm having trouble finding new folks
Am supposed to be working on one writing project this week, which of course means I've been lusting after my other one, instead
omg, you're the woodworker!! I was so excited when I saw that on the schedule, it sounds so cool!
You seriously wouldn’t believe how important “real human beings talking about things publicly” is to every author less famous than Stephen King. It’s MASSIVE.
