I dunno; I'm seeing an awful lot of this. Accounts who follow hundreds/thousands but have followers in double digits. Few to no posts. A couple of pictures. And the second I hit follow back, bang, my Chat button lights up. I'd been on the other site 13 years and never got so many DMs! What gives?
