I'm a borderline Sebald obsessive.
This year's reading, less some Lord Dunsany, a WG Sebald I sent to my daughter for dissertation research, the 331/3rd on REM's'Murmer' and maybe one or two others.
Also read Austerlitz last year - first rereading of it.
Started... but not finished that one, yet.
If you see this, post a book you’ve read more than once. Still fascinated by this book, over two decades since I first read it. Last year, managed to walk a section of it.
To be fair, I'm not a prolific poster and swopping phones with associated password amnesia hasn't exactly helped... ... but welcome to Bluesky!
In his last book of diaries, 'Smiling in Slow Motion', Derek Jarman wrote of '......the warmth that people give me like a good coal fire on a winters day.' (Tues 11th June 1991). May there be plenty of warmth for him on this 30th anniversary of his passing. #ModernNature
It's an amazing shot!
What I read, what I want to read & what I have in the house to read are three, often somewhat incompatible, lists. I don't have time for any others... ....and neither should you! Don't judge yourself by other people's lists; treasure the delights you have discovered by yourself that they missed.
