On a more serious note, I read someone earlier today responding to a Dem scold who was complaining that the couch thing was in The New Yorker and consequently was clearly played out and it was time to move on. No, it's time to push it harder.

That was to secure the nomination. Now they need the important people and the NYT to get on board.

Every election someone convinces them that they don't have to motivate their base, that it'll vote for them no matter how thin the gruel... so the obvious next step is to chase the racist anti-immigrant vote (and never make the anti-Gaza vote feel even slightly bad!)

If you just smiled harder when you voted you’d have everything you wanted, so really the militarized border is your fault.

Please tell me Dems are not actually chanting "build that wall."
