Surreal to think that it’s been 10 years this month since I won the Federal Duck Stamp! My acrylic painting of a pair of Ruddy Ducks went on to be made into the 2015-16 Stamp. Looking back at it a decade later is still pretty weird. To celebrate, a few small things! (continued)

Plum season is over, thank goodness for that. It was a really good year for plums in our garden. We harvested around 30 kg of plums, and shared a good part of it with neighbour. Result is 76 jars of various types of plum jam and a good deal of plum liquor.
Installing Arch Linux is painful. NearToTheSky has been at it for soon a week and my computer still is not working. But at least it can do the train.
Tokyo is pretty big. Also, if home os where wifi connect automatically, I guess Japan is my home now.
