Lovely game of Vaesen last night, set in my ancestral homeland of Lancashire. Samlesbury Hall, the self-proclaimed most haunted place in England was the location for a mystery involving The Lady in White and more. Breathless action and witty repartee all round!
If for some ungodly reason I'm awake then, I'll drop you a note!
My experience of the ttrpg world suggests getting the engagement is a challenge and relies on an ephemeral je ne sais quoi. Having a strong focus, i.e. historical games may well help with this, as having a theme gets out the people who are particularly interested in it. (Higher %age of converts)
Seminars are received well at most conventions but are a smaller subset of the whole. As a result it would be interesting to see how an event with that as a prime feature works out.
Potentially interested, depends on when and where (as I think it does for most folk). If you get off the ground, I'd ensure you look at other events as the pool of gaming people isn't large and nearby events can suck in a lot of your prospective audience. :)
Your balls tested positive for COVID? I use the nasal tests myself. ๐ Hope you get better soon!
Great times this afternoon recording a part 1 of @gauntletrpg.bsky.social@evilgaz.bsky.social@trvshane.bsky.social@thirdfloorwars.bsky.social - can't wait to get to part 2!
