We didn't need to season it. We do typically use a small amount of cooking spray but with this pan sometimes we skip it Only restriction is to not use abrasives or metal utensils on it and you can't microwave it (I wouldn't want to microwave it so)

A few months ago we needed a new everyday frying pan and we got one that's ceramic coated at Target I admit I was dubious about it's non-stick qualities It is by far the least sticky pan I've ever owned. Everything slides right off. It's amazing.
