Anaesthetic is so weird because it’s not like sleep at all, much more like teleportation. Some bloke’s saying something to you, then suddenly you’re somewhere completely different & a totally different person is talking to you & expecting you to just pick up the conversation
I mean it’s impressive but a lot of people actually look like that to start with? Seems like it would be quicker?
If I was an obese, bald Italian actor with bad skin & a limp I’d be really pissed off that a part that was finally made for me had gone to Colin Farrell
Urgh please don’t use expressions like ‘should be beaten with a large stick’ about politicians even if you don’t mean it literally & they are unpleasant Tories. There’s enough real violence around
It’s just weird - I could understand it deep in the country, but an urban environment where everyone just sits in their separate homes? Everyone should be able to go out & have fun in the evening if they want to
Having grown up in London I’m completely bewildered by how quite big towns can have buses that mostly finish at 6.30pm. Is everyone just meant to stay in & watch telly? How can town centres thrive if people without cars have effectively got a curfew?
Good tip, thanks!
