I remember being livid about this at the time (I didn’t have Sky1 at this point), but in hindsight it was never going to work out for The Simpsons being buried on Saturday teatimes. Probably more of a misunderstanding on the Beeb’s part on the type of show they thought it would be, eg Flintstones.
