Dolly’s day started getting spooked by some beavers during her morning walk in Valemount, continued with her hiding a dog cookie in a parking lot green space in Clearwater and ended with a sneak attack hotel room bath in Kamloops.
We did Spahats creek and helmcken falls. Both pretty spectacular.
We’ve stayed in Clearwater a few times but today was the first time we visited Wells Grey park and holy shit that place has some amazing forests, canyons and waterfalls.
Driving from Edmonton to Valemount this afternoon and evening included the joy of larch trees just starting to turn gold in bright sunbeams and the sadness of charred tree skeletons throughout Jasper National Park in rainy dusk. Nature’s emotional landscape.
Nope. Fresh, roasted, in various soups and sauces etc.
I carrot tell a lie.
That sucks. I have mixed luck with veggies but the carrots usually succeed. I think they loved the heat this year.
I love you even more than carrots.
