It's interesting how different parts of Kant get emphasized along the analytic/continental divide. The analytics love the second critique and praise Kant mainly as an ethicist. The continentals love the first and third critiques and praise Kant as a metaphysician.

To be fair, we continentals probably damn Kant with faint praise. ;-) And his ethics is truly terrible.
