In my neighborhood, there was a boarded up, dilapidated house with an overgrown lawn featuring a Trump sign, a no trespassing sign, and a not for sale sign. The Trump sign came down and they cut the lawn a few months back

Started reading The Gutter Prayer by Gareth Hanrahan last night. Pretty gripping opening, including a (seemingly) gratuitous second person address to a personified building and an in media res story that connected me quickly with the characters while introducing a weird world…
