Starmer accepted Ā£100k in donations for personal use. His wife keeps designer clothes rather than loans them like Sarah Brown and even Carrie Johnson(!). I think itā€™s a bit patronising to suggest the public only care about that because the press told them to.

No Labour government should be spending their rare moments in power flagging benefit fraud. Benefit rates in this country are so low that many claimants canā€™t afford food, utilities or rent. Thatā€™s the story. If a Labour PM canā€™t be trusted to know that, something is very wrong.
