As you know, I live where the thing happened and I can tell you: even the local news isn't that interested. Apart from the gentleman who actually died protecting his family.
As someone whose former youth group had a "special meeting" of all of its members so that the pastors could warn them about ME SPECIFICALLY as a "threat to their faith," I couldn't agree more. "God's will" and "sin of the mind" can fark right off.
