Ah! Looks like the reason then. 🙂
The last of the crocosmia here. Hasn't been a great year for them, but then actually, I don't think they like my heavy clay soil as I don't get a great show most years.🌱
You must be right, they've spread all over my garden too, and are flowering now; it's lovely. 🙂
I'm definitely not a dahlia expert at all, but the big one does look like every cafe au lait I've seen. It is lovely. You're quite right about the difference in the smaller one, doesn't have any similarities except the colour does it 🤔
I know what you mean, I was hoping for a few more weeks of blooms.
Hello lovely gardening peeps. Just to prove the seasons have totally gone to pot here in Wiltshire, here is a Welsh poppy blooming today in my garden. They usually bloom in late spring. 🌱🤷♀️
Hello lovely gardening peeps. The early chill that has set in in Wiltshire has done for my late summer flowers. This is the only aster to actually make it to flowering. 😕🌱
Hello lovely gardening peeps. The '...season of mists and mellow fruitfulness' is here. I like it. 🌱
What a cracking shot 👍, well done. Thankyou for sharing 😊
