welcome to everyone bolting over here because twitter just crashed lmao
so true bestie
maybe my funniest meta thought is the humor i found in watching every scene with ayo edebiri (incredible talent) and rachel sennott (wrote a character that’s just her into the screenplay). like watching an nfl team play your local high school in every scene
thought it was aight. for reasons i won’t get into i was not in the best headspace for a teen comedy. felt like a lot of the jokes would be funnier as tweets than as dialogue in a film. but enough moments hit me that i’m willing to give it a rewatch.
saw BOTTOMS (2023) tonight
in a new level of hell (seventh wheeling at halloween horror nights)
girlfriend’s out of town this weekend, you know what that means😈😈😈(getting drunk alone in my apartment and crying while watching the blade runner movies)
i think we are the only people allowed to make “at least it’s hitting the right part of florida” jokes
point being i think this is an example of a movie that would have actually benefitted from being two and a half hours long. think you coulda built out the world its face in a lot more detail so it works on both a surface level and as this kind of cosmological journey through the concept of grief
