I meant DPM, which isn't voted on directly, but yes I agree overall

Well summed up

Maternity pay is such a mad area to go loopy on, too. The Tories are supposed to be worried about a declining birth rate. They're supposed to be worried about middle class household incomes. They're supposed to be keen on protecting people to make family-driven choices. Excuse me, but HA HA HA

I was starting to feel very depressed about the way Starmer has managed to come so unnecessarily unstuck so quickly. Then Kemi Badenoch comes along to remind literally everybody, including anxious swing voters who backed Labour, that the alternative was and still is much, much worse

(Yes, I obviously do know why she's saying this and no I don't want a start another debate about that on a Sunday... but when you put Rayner in chair 2, create the first female chancellor and give bloody brilliant Jess Phillips a ministerial job, you don't have a "problem with women")

Rosie Duffied might be pointing to some important things in her resignation, but signing it off with a "he has a problem with women" chaser is utterly ridiculous. Oh, and is she going to offer to call a by-election now? If she thinks her voters need a chance to have their voice heard, she ought.
